A New Chapter: Introducing Orogen8 and the Next Phase of My Sustainability Journey

After more than a decade of working in ESG, sustainability assurance, environmental consulting and climate-related advisory, I’ve learned that meaningful impact doesn’t come from movement alone, it comes from clarity of purpose.

Taking time away from the intensity of corporate work gave me the rare space to reflect on the kind of sustainability professional I want to be, the challenges organisations are facing, and the type of support the market urgently needs.

Rather than stepping back, I spent the past months stepping deeper into what matters and that is refining my expertise, reconnecting with the foundations of my work, and building something that reflects both my values and my capability.

What emerged from that period is Orogen8 a sustainability advisory designed to deliver credible, strategic ESG support to the companies shaping tomorrow’s economy.

Why I Created Orogen8

For years, I’ve worked with global organisations navigating the increasing demands of sustainability reporting, climate disclosure, materiality, and decarbonisation. I’ve supported leadership teams through complex CSRD readiness programmes, conducted assurance engagements, and helped companies understand and manage their environmental impacts.

In all that experience, one gap consistently stood out to me. High-quality sustainability expertise is often out of reach for the very businesses driving innovation, growth, and positive change.

SMEs and scaling companies care deeply about sustainability but they often lack the internal capacity, technical knowledge, and dedicated support needed to deliver it well.

Orogen8 was built to change that.

This is not a side step from my career, it’s the natural progression of it and a move toward helping organisations with purpose-led strategy, practical ESG implementation, and credible reporting.
